The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck enemy defense industry facilities, an oil depot, and logistics targets

On the night of July 7, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of key military and industrial targets on Russian territory and in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The targets included enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex, an oil depot supplying a military airfield, railway bridges, and logistics depots for the occupying forces.

According to preliminary information, one of the targets was the JSC “Kremniy EL Group” facility in Bryansk, which is one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of microelectronics. The plant manufactures microchips, power semiconductor devices, and other electronic components used in control systems, communications, electronic warfare, and Russian weaponry. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

The Ukrainian military also struck the Bryansk Chemical Plant in the city of Seltsy, Bryansk Oblast. According to preliminary reports, at least four explosions were heard in the vicinity of the plant. This facility produces gunpowder, explosives, and rocket fuel components used in the manufacture of ammunition and missiles deployed by the Russian army in the war against Ukraine. The final results of the strike are still being determined.

In addition, an oil depot that supplies the “Belgorod” military airfield was struck. Information on the damage caused is currently being verified.

Separately, the Defense Forces reported the destruction of two railway bridges near the towns of Rozdolne and Ichki in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to the General Staff, Russian troops used these facilities to transport personnel, weapons, ammunition, and other military equipment.

Logistics depots for Russian troops in the Volnovakha and Yasynuvata districts of Donetsk Oblast were also struck.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

As a reminder, on the night of July 6, Ukrainian forces struck a number of Russian logistics facilities in the Sea of Azov. According to a report from the 414th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems “Madyar’s Birds,” eight tankers belonging to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet,” as well as a dry cargo ship and a ferry, were struck.

Satellite monitoring detected fires in various areas of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Fires were recorded near power substations in Kurortne and Saki, as well as in the Azov Sea region near Kerch.
