The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 26 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector

Since the start of the day on September 3, there have been 199 combat engagements along the front lines. Russian forces launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops repelled 26 assaults.

 

Throughout the day, Russian troops continued to storm Ukrainian positions on several fronts. A total of 199 combat engagements were recorded.

The occupiers also actively used aircraft and drones. Over the past 24 hours, they carried out 73 airstrikes and dropped 209 guided bombs. In addition, Russian troops deployed 6,111 kamikaze drones and fired 2,374 rounds at Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

Where the Russians Launched the Most Attacks

No offensive activity by Russian troops was recorded in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors.

In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, the situation was significantly more tense. The Russians attempted 18 times to break through to Ukrainian military positions near Kozacha Lopana, Lyman, Staritsa, Vilcha, Okhrimivka, and Bochkove. Another firefight in this sector was still ongoing as of this evening.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces did not carry out any offensive operations.

The Lyman and Sloviansk sectors

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled seven Russian attempts to advance. Fighting took place near Kopanok, Novoegorivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Dibrova. Two more clashes in this sector were ongoing in the evening.

In the Sloviansk direction, Russian troops attempted to attack the positions of the Defense Forces near Kaleniki, Ozernoye, and Kryva Luka seven times. Ukrainian defenders repelled these attacks. Two more battles in this direction continued.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no Russian assault operations were recorded.

Kostiantynivka Sector

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces also actively attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses. Defense Forces repelled 15 assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Mykolaypillya, Raiske, and Pavlivka. Ukrainian troops prevented Russian units from advancing in these areas.

26 attacks were repelled on the Pokrovsk sector

The highest number of combat engagements over the past 24 hours was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector. Here, Russian troops attempted to advance 26 times. The occupiers attacked in the areas of Vilne, Sofiivka, Toretsk, Pryiut, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, Serhiivka, Udachne, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka.

As of 10:00 p.m., three more firefights were still ongoing in this sector. According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian forces eliminated 56 Russian soldiers there over the past 24 hours, while another 18 occupiers were wounded.

The Defense Forces also destroyed 9 vehicles, 4 pieces of specialized equipment, a drone command post, and 31 Russian shelters. In addition, 5 vehicles, 7 artillery systems, one piece of specialized equipment, and 8 UAV command posts were damaged. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the situation at the front on September 3.

Ukrainian troops also destroyed or neutralized 365 drones of various types.

Other Fronts

On the Oleksandrivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled one Russian attack near Yegorivka.

On the Huliaipole front, the occupiers attempted to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces seven times in the Vozdvizhivka area.

On the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks near Orikhiv and Primorske.

On the Prydniprovsk direction, Russian troops did not conduct any assault operations. No significant changes in the situation were recorded on other sections of the front.

Russian Activity Over the Past 24 Hours

Thus, the most tense section of the front on September 3 remained the Pokrovsk sector, where 26 attacks took place. A significant number of assaults also occurred in the Southern Slobozhansky and Kostiantynivsky sectors.

In total, Russian troops attempted to attack Ukrainian positions 199 times. At the same time, the occupiers actively employed aircraft, guided bombs, and strike drones. According to the General Staff, the Ukrainian military continues to repel the Russian offensive and inflict losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian cities and villages with drones, artillery, and aircraft. According to the latest operational data, at least three people were killed and more than 75 were injured, including children.
