Ukraine’s Armed Forces eliminate another 1,200 Russian troops in one day — General Staff data

Russian losses in the full-scale war against Ukraine continue to rise sharply. Updated figures indicate large-scale exhaustion of the Russian army, both in manpower and across all major categories of weapons and military equipment.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As of 30 December 2025, since the start of the full-scale invasion on 24 February 2022, Russia’s estimated cumulative losses have reached approximately 1,206,910 personnel, including 1,220 killed over the past day.

According to the General Staff, Ukraine’s Defence Forces have destroyed:

  • 11,477 tanks;
  • 23,841 armoured fighting vehicles;
  • 35,589 artillery systems;
  • 1,582 multiple launch rocket systems;
  • 1,264 air defence systems.

The enemy’s aviation losses amount to 434 aircraft and 347 helicopters.

Russia’s unmanned component has also suffered significant losses. Ukrainian air defence and electronic warfare units have destroyed 96,932 operational and tactical UAVs, as well as 4,136 cruise missiles.

At sea, the enemy has lost 28 ships and boats, along with two submarines.

Since the beginning of the war, more than 72,000 vehicles and fuel tankers and 4,031 units of special equipment have been destroyed, significantly complicating the logistical support of Russian forces in the occupied territories.

Over the course of 29 December, 151 combat engagements were recorded along the frontline. The most intense situation for Ukraine’s Defence Forces was observed in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions.
