Ukrainian troops have liberated 37 square kilometers of territory in southern Ukraine from Russian occupiers. Defense forces are continuing their offensive operations and plan to reach 40 square kilometers in the near future.
This was reported by Dmytro Filatov, commander of the First Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsyubailo, who goes by the call sign “Perun,” in a comment to Channel 24.
According to him, during a recent multi-domain operation, Ukrainian forces destroyed 340 pieces of Russian military equipment.
At the same time, the intensity of the operation has decreased somewhat. Ukrainian units are attempting to advance overland as cautiously as possible and are also conducting reconnaissance to identify areas where Russian equipment and personnel are concentrated.
