ABC publishes 50/50 quiz with a trap question
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation ABC News Australia has published a new 50/50 quiz with ten questions. Each offers two answer options: one correct and the other incorrect.
One answer with a penalty
This time, the authors added one trap to the quiz. If a participant gives an incorrect answer to this particular question, one point will be deducted from their score.
ABC does not disclose which task contains the trap. It may be in any category, but the editorial team notes that there will be only one such question.

Quiz topics
The questions cover cinema, mythology, sports, music, nature, geography and chronology. In particular, readers are asked to choose the Greek god of dreams between Orpheus and Morpheus, name the author of the song Islands in the Stream, and recall the stage name of Cheryl James.
Other tasks include a question about the film for a role in which Tim Curry received a Razzie Award, the composer of the “Surprise Symphony,” and an Australian Test cricketer born on the same day as Don Bradman. A separate task concerns the Canadian province where people will vote in October on starting the process of a possible departure from the country.
