An American dug up a diamond worth over $1 million during a TikTok livestream

A U.S. Navy reservist found a 6.03-carat diamond in Arkansas during a live TikTok broadcast. The gem is estimated to be worth more than $1 million.

A U.S. Navy Reserve sailor, who has been panning for stones in Arkansas for over a decade, found a 6.03-carat diamond that collectors estimate could be worth over $1 million.

Jack Pireadin openly admits that his passion for searching for gemstones has never made him any money.

However, the stone he and a friend dug up in a field in Arkansas earlier this year was unlike anything he had ever found before. Collectors told him the diamond could be worth over $1 million.

One experienced appraiser stated that a diamond of this size and quality could be worth a quarter of that amount.

The discovery happened during a live stream of Pireidin’s search on TikTok.

“Oh my God! Oh my God!” Pireidin exclaimed.

It is the largest diamond found this year at Crater of Diamonds State Park.

This was reported by The Independent.
