A British vessel was struck by an unknown projectile while exiting the Strait of Hormuz. The attack damaged the engine room, and one crew member was injured, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
“The strike caused damage to the engine room and resulted in injuries to one crew member. The rest of the crew is currently being assisted by the Omani Coast Guard. No environmental impact has been reported at this time. An investigation is underway. Vessels are advised to exercise caution when transiting the strait and to report any suspicious activity to the UKMTO,” the statement said.

As a reminder, shipping through the Strait of Hormuz had nearly come to a halt before the ceasefire ended.
