Denmark is providing $275 million in military aid to Ukraine
On September 19, Denmark announced the delivery of its 31st extraordinary military aid package to Ukraine, valued at approximately $275 million. The funds will be used to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense ahead of the fall and winter months.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara thanked his Danish counterpart, Jeppe Bruus, for fulfilling the agreements reached during a phone call earlier this week.
Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Denmark has remained one of the leading countries in providing military aid to Ukraine and has consistently developed new and effective formats for cooperation.
Khmara thanked the Danish government and parliament for their principled stance and support for Ukraine, particularly in light of Russia’s hybrid attacks and provocations against our allies.
