Former Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo invited to lecture series
In Accra, Ghana, The Bright Future Alliance (TBFA) held a meeting with former President Nana Akufo-Addo and invited him to become a special guest of honor at the upcoming African Leaders of Influence Lectureship Series. This was reported by MyJoyOnline.
The TBFA delegation was led by the organization’s executive director and also included members of its leadership and team. During the meeting, alliance representatives informed Akufo-Addo about their activities and reaffirmed their intention to promote democratic values, accountable leadership, and sustainable development in Africa.
According to TBFA, the former head of state expressed readiness to accept the invitation, subject to the necessary organizational arrangements.
Theme of the lecture series
The organization also invited former Ghanaian Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia to serve as the event’s keynote speaker. His topic will be “Rethinking Governance and Economic Transformation in Africa Amid Global Geopolitical Shifts.”
