The European Commission has outlined the condition for providing Ukraine with €8.35 billion in the next tranche of aid

The European Commission has confirmed its intention to provide Ukraine with an additional €8.35 billion in 2026 as part of the long-term Ukraine Facility program; however, the funds will be disbursed only upon the implementation of the agreed-upon reforms.

According to European Commission spokesperson Gioma Mercier, the basis for funding will depend on the implementation of commitments under the updated plan, which includes 27 new reform milestones.

The European Commission has not yet specified the exact date for the disbursement of the first tranche, but notes that Ukraine submits requests for disbursements every three months, so another request from Kyiv is expected in the near future. The Ukraine Facility program is aimed at supporting the country’s financial stability, reconstruction, and modernization.
