The FSB has shot and killed a fourth Russian since the start of the year
In the Moscow region, FSB officers killed a Russian citizen accused of planning sabotage operations on behalf of Ukrainian intelligence agencies.
Security officials claim that the man allegedly set up storage facilities for explosives, set fire to relay cabinets on the railway, and was preparing a terrorist attack at a military-industrial complex facility.
According to the official version of the Russian law enforcement agencies, the deceased independently contacted his “handler” via Telegram.
After receiving the necessary training, he allegedly secured a position at a strategic facility in the Moscow region, which he planned to blow up using a homemade device.
Russian propaganda outlets add that the man also intended to shoot the facility’s employees.
To do so, he allegedly converted a signal pistol into a combat weapon himself, although independent confirmation of this information is, as usual, not provided.
Security services state that the attempt to apprehend him occurred as the suspect was trying to retrieve a bomb from a hiding place.
“During the arrest, the criminal offered armed resistance and was neutralized by return fire,” reads the FSB report, accompanied by footage of a blurred body in the middle of the forest.
The FSB is misappropriating funds from space programs.
