Greene condemns influencer Loomer’s remarks
Former Republican U.S. House member Marjorie Taylor Greene condemned remarks by right-wing influencer Laura Loomer on the social media platform X. Greene said Loomer’s rhetoric is what she called the new MAGA and the Republican Party of U.S. President Donald Trump. The Hill reports.
Greene’s reaction to Loomer’s post
Greene responded to a post by Loomer directed against Florida state House member, Democrat Angie Nixon, who is running for the Senate. The former congresswoman noted that she does not support Nixon and is not a Democrat, but believes that the Republican Party and Trump are responsible for Loomer and her constant harsh rhetoric.
Greene said she completely condemns Loomer’s comments, which she described as disgusting, hateful and racist. She also called Loomer’s statements demeaning rhetoric that should not be acceptable. According to Greene, Loomer is allowed into the president’s inner circle, while her attacks harm Republican Ashley Moody, who is Nixon’s opponent in the election.

Loomer’s response
In response, Loomer defended her remarks and made a number of accusations against Greene concerning her former intern Milo Yiannopoulos. In particular, Loomer claimed that Greene hired Yiannopoulos, allowed him to live in her home and knew about his immigration problems. These are Loomer’s claims.
According to the outlet, Loomer said that she was the one who reported Yiannopoulos to federal authorities. White House border coordinator Tom Homan told CNN that many people had reported Yiannopoulos to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Loomer was likely among them.
Greene was previously a close ally of Trump, but later a public conflict emerged between them. She criticized the administration over the release of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as well as over the cost of living and the war with Iran.
