Kosovo signs agreement to participate in Gaza stabilization force
Kosovo has signed an agreement on the participation of the Kosovo Security Force in the International Stabilization Force in Gaza. The Kosovo Security Force reported this on social media.

As Anadolu Agency reports, the agreement was signed during an official visit to Kosovo by the commander of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza, Major General Jasper Jeffers, and his staff.
Representatives of the Board of Peace/ISF Gaza and Kosovo Security Force Commander Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari took part in the signing. According to the Kosovo Security Force, Jeffers welcomed Kosovo's decision and readiness to join the international mission and stressed the importance of the force's contribution to efforts for peace, security and stability.

Position of the Kosovo Security Force
Jashari stated that the participation of the Kosovo Security Force in international security missions is part of Kosovo's vision of making a concrete contribution to promoting peace and security around the world. According to him, the force intends to continuously increase its contribution to international security and move from the role of a security importer to that of a security exporter, cooperating with international allies and partners.
On July 31, the Board of Peace published a roadmap for the next stage of the Gaza plan. It provides for the disarmament of Hamas, the phased withdrawal of Israeli forces, the transfer of governance to a Palestinian technocratic committee, the deployment of an international stabilization force and reconstruction.
