Lavrov and his mistress have repeatedly traveled abroad together with Kabaeva's mother, according to media reports
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his mistress, Svetlana Polyakova, have repeatedly gone on vacation abroad together with Lyubov Kabayeva—the mother of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s mistress.
Thanks to a leak of data from the border crossing database, journalists discovered, among other things, that Kabayeva Sr., Lavrov, and Polyakova visited Croatia twice (in 2017 and 2018) and also flew to Turkey (in 2021). All of these flights were made on expensive business jets; one of them was regularly used by Yevgeny Giner, president of the Moscow soccer club CSKA.
On some of these flights, they were accompanied by the families of entrepreneurs Vitaly Mashchitsky and Alexander Chigirinsky. Thus, the Agency emphasizes, both Lavrov and Putin’s de facto mother-in-law are friends with successful entrepreneurs who can finance expensive vacations.
Journalists also concluded that Svetlana Polyakova and Lyubov Kabaeva are friends, as they flew to Italy twice (in 2016 and 2018—and used the same flight as Tatyana Yumasheva, Boris Yeltsin’s daughter), as well as to Croatia (in 2019) without Lavrov.
During their last trip to Croatia, they were also accompanied by Leisan Kabaeva—the younger sister of Putin’s girlfriend.
Journalists note that Sergey Lavrov remains the only member of the Russian government who has held his position for 22 years. In the Russian State Duma elections, which begin on Friday, he has also become one of the top candidates on the United Russia list.

Lavrov stated that Russia will await new proposals for negotiations.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has not yet made a decision regarding his participation in the G20 summit and, accordingly, regarding a meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy effectively proposed to the Kremlin leader that they hold a face-to-face meeting during the G20 summit in December 2026.
U.S. President Donald Trump has not yet decided whether to invite Russia to the G20 summit, which will take place on December 14–15, 2026, in Miami.
