Lukashenko has decided to send Belarusian troops to war against Ukraine
During a ceremony on July 6 honoring graduates of higher military educational institutions and senior officers, Alexander Lukashenko stated that Belarusian military personnel would not take part in the war against Ukraine.
“I emphasize once again, dear comrades, that no one will send you off to this slaughter. We do not need war; it is unfortunate that war is raging in Ukraine. We are advocates of a peaceful resolution to these issues,” Lukashenko said.
At the same time, he claimed that an international “war party” allegedly supports the continuation of the war. Lukashenko included European Union countries in this group, accusing them of pursuing a course of militarization and increasing purchases of offensive weapons.
In addition, Lukashenko made his customary claim about an alleged “hybrid war” against Belarus, which, according to him, involves economic, political, and informational pressure.
It is worth noting that representatives of Alexander Lukashenko’s regime continue to avoid spreading Kremlin narratives that portray Ukraine as a threat to Belarus.
Lukashenko traveled to Indonesia to seek new partners.
