Charity dinner to support children with cancer to be held in Cyprus
Columbia Steak House restaurant in Cyprus will hold the An Evening with Purpose charity dinner on September 24, 2026, in support of the One Dream One Wish association. The net proceeds from the event will be donated to the organization, which supports children and young people affected by cancer, leukemia and other serious blood diseases.
Dinner and music program
The Columbia Steak House team has prepared a special set menu for the event. The dinner will cost 140 euros per person. La Maison Du Vin will be the initiative’s official wine sponsor. A live performance by Christina Averkiou is also planned for guests.
September is the international childhood cancer awareness month, also known as Gold Month. Columbia Plaza operations manager Stefanos Karageorgiou said that the event is intended to bring guests together, draw attention to the problems faced by children and families affected by cancer, and contribute to the work of One Dream One Wish.

Support for children and families
The One Dream One Wish association was founded in Cyprus in November 1997 by parents and friends of children affected by such diseases. The organization grants wishes to children with cancer, provides financial assistance to their families, and offers psychological support to children and their loved ones.
According to Cyprus Mail, the association has supported children, young people and their families for almost three decades.
