Naryshkin Revealed Details of a Secret Meeting with CIA Director Retcliffe
Sergey Naryshkin, head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, spoke for the first time about his meeting with CIA Director John Ratcliffe in Moscow. According to him, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, international security, and the situation surrounding the war in Ukraine.

He said that during the meeting, the parties discussed issues falling within the purview of the intelligence services.
Naryshkin also described such contacts as routine. “Meetings between the intelligence services of different countries are standard practice,” he noted.
During his visit to Moscow, John Ratcliffe, Director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, met with representatives of the Russian intelligence services—Russia being an aggressor state—but did not meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
