PACE denied that Prosecutor General Kravchenko attended the meeting in Paris

Prosecutor General Kravchenko and representatives of his office will not participate in the meeting of the Parliamentary Network on the Situation of Children in Ukraine

This was reported by PACE spokesperson Natalie Bargellini.

Earlier, government sources told the media that Prosecutor General Kravchenko had personally arranged and signed off on a five-day business trip to Paris starting September 13, ostensibly to participate in this hearing.

The Anti-Corruption Action Center stated that Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko left Ukraine after signing a notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos. The Anti-Corruption Action Center claims that this may have been done in exchange for the opportunity to leave the country.

Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko stated that he is abroad on an official business trip. 

The Anti-Corruption Center stated that Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko allegedly left Ukraine after signing the notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos. The Anti-Corruption Center claims that this may have been done in exchange for the opportunity to leave the country.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office have denied Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko’s statements regarding the alleged notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and offers of immunity.
