Poland is studying Ukraine's experience to strengthen military discipline
Poland is considering strengthening the liability of military personnel for failing to follow orders during combat operations, drawing on Ukraine’s experience in improving military legislation.
This was stated by Poland’s Minister of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. According to the minister, several months ago he ordered an analysis of Polish legislation in preparation for a possible armed conflict. In preparing potential changes, Ukrainian experience is being taken into account.
“We are drawing on Ukraine’s experience regarding the changes that Ukraine had to implement very quickly, as the outbreak of the armed conflict caught its legislation unprepared,” Kosiniak-Kamysz noted.
At the same time, the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense emphasized that no final decisions regarding the changes have been made yet. According to him, the authorities will continue their analysis to develop legislation that will ensure the country’s effective defense.

As a reminder, Poland plans to launch production of M88A2 armored vehicles.
Poland has launched the official process of establishing a permanent U.S. military base on its territory. The government has already adopted a corresponding decision, and the defense minister has been authorized to negotiate with the U.S. side and prepare the necessary infrastructure.
