Dubai ruler calls UAE president the ‘spirit of the nation’
In the United Arab Emirates, Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum called the country’s president, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the “spirit of the nation.” In a post on X, he noted the president’s leadership, his attention to young people, and his preparation of the country for future generations, The National reports.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said that he knows the president as a man of his word, principles, and action. He also called him generous toward the people, responsible for the future of the country’s children, and compassionate, tolerant, and noble toward everyone living in the UAE.
The Dubai ruler mentioned Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s participation as a field commander during the liberation of Kuwait and the war in Kosovo, as well as his work during global disasters. According to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the president has earned international respect for the Emirates.

The Dubai ruler named instilling a sense of confidence, security, and optimism in the country’s children as one of the president’s main achievements. As an example, he described a girl who safely goes to school, sees the UAE’s space achievements, and dreams of one day making her parents proud and raising the national flag.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid also praised the president for turning international relations into economic, political, and investment partnerships beneficial to the UAE population. He emphasized Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s attention to education, industries of the future, and economic diversification.
According to him, the president inherited a great state created by UAE founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and continued to strengthen its stability, diversify the economy, and expand international ties. The Dubai ruler noted that the goal is to shape generations capable of creating prosperity and determining the country’s future.
