Rutte will meet with the deputy head of the Pentagon in Brussels
On Thursday, August 27, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby. The talks will take place at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
During his visit, Colby will also participate in a meeting of the North Atlantic Council with NATO member states’ ambassadors.
The U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense will arrive at NATO headquarters on August 27 to meet with Rutte and participate in the North Atlantic Council.
“On August 27, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby at NATO headquarters in Brussels,” the statement reads.
The NATO press office clarified that Colby will also take part in a meeting of the North Atlantic Council with ambassadors from allied nations.
