Russian authorities disrupt WhatsApp
On the morning of November 28, users in Russia widely reported problems with the WhatsApp messenger.
This is confirmed by the monitoring services “Сбой.рф” and Downdetector.
According to “Сбой.рф,” over a thousand complaints about the messenger were received during the night and morning. The majority of reports came from users in Moscow (39%) and Saint Petersburg (17%).
Users reported that they were unable to send messages, and photos and videos were loading with significant delays.
Earlier, Russia began partially restricting calls via the Telegram and WhatsApp messengers.
