Saudi Arabia strikes Al-Bar Bridge in Yemen twice — Jerusalem Post
Saudi Arabia carried out two airstrikes on the Al-Bar Bridge in southwestern Yemen on the morning of September 17. As The Jerusalem Post reports, Ynet relayed the information, citing the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah television channel. According to the channel, the bridge was targeted for the second time in two days.
Strikes on the bridge
Al-Masirah reported that two airstrikes were carried out on the bridge. The Jerusalem Post notes that the strikes occurred amid an escalation of the conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis, whom the publication describes as backed by Iran.

Houthis' statement about a drone
The Houthis also said they had shot down a Saudi drone in the city of Harad, described in the report as an eastern city of Saudi Arabia. Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, Iran's state broadcaster, also reported this claim on the evening of September 16.
According to IRIB, Saudi aviation carried out a total of 40 airstrikes on Yemen over the previous 24 hours.
