Saudi minister discusses regional situation with Iran and Pakistan
Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan on September 6. The main topic of the contacts was regional developments, Asharq Al-Awsat reports.

In a conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the Saudi minister discussed efforts to preserve regional security and stability.

During a separate telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Faisal bin Farhan discussed developments related to the current crisis. The sides also considered efforts to contain the crisis through dialogue and negotiations aimed at reducing tensions and preserving regional security and stability.

Faisal bin Farhan and Ishaq Dar also discussed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
