Türkiye offers condolences after explosion in Syria’s Idlib
Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the families of those killed and the people of Syria after an explosion in the Sarmada area of the northwestern Syrian province of Idlib. According to Anadolu Agency, four people were killed and another 10 were injured in the incident.
Explosion in Sarmada
Syrian authorities reported that the explosion occurred at a temporary facility where weapons and remnants of war were being collected. In a statement by Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry, the site of the explosion was described as an ammunition depot.
