New details have emerged in Finland about the drone that was found — Yle

One of the drones detected in Finland likely entered the country’s territory during the same period as the other “stray” UAVs. According to preliminary data, this drone is also of Ukrainian origin.

According to Yle, this was reported by Risto Lohi, Chief Inspector of the Finnish Central Criminal Police.

Investigators believe that the drone equipped with a warhead, which was found in southeastern Finland near Iitti on Saturday, entered the country at the same time as the previous three.

“At this point, it seems very likely that this is the same type of aircraft as the drones found earlier,” said Risto Lohi.

He also confirmed that all the drones are Ukrainian. Four investigations are underway in connection with these incidents.

Meanwhile, it has become known that the identification of the drone model, which was previously widely reported in the Finnish media, turned out to be incorrect—it is now believed that this is not an An-196 "Luty," but a smaller drone with a smaller warhead.

Risto Lohi emphasized that even a UAV with a small payload poses a danger, so any discovery should be immediately reported to government agencies, and people should not approach it.

Police acknowledge that there may be other, as yet undiscovered Ukrainian drones somewhere in the southeastern regions of the country that veered off course during attacks on ports around St. Petersburg.

As a reminder, Finlanddemands that Ukrainian drones never enter its territory.

Finland has deported a record number of Russians.

Finland is also making it harder to obtain permanent residency.

On Sunday, two drones, likely belonging to Ukraine, crashed on Finnish territory.
