Ghana announces burial date for Stephen Kojo Adjei — MyJoyOnline

In Juaso, Ghana, an obituary notice announced the death of Stephen Kojo Adjei, also known as Kwaadjei. Farewell events and the burial are scheduled for October 3–5, 2026, MyJoyOnline reports.

Burial ceremony

Viewing by the coffin will take place on October 3 at Old Ahenfie, also known as Nana Yaw Amagyei Fie, in Juaso, from 4:00 to 9:00. A pre-burial service at the same venue will run from 9:30 to 11:00.

The burial is scheduled for 11:30 at the Mount Calvary Presbyterian Church cemetery in Juaso. Funeral rites will be held later that day at the Old Ahenfie courtyard from 13:30 to 18:00. No separate evening farewell has been planned.

On October 4, a thanksgiving service is scheduled at Mount Calvary Presbyterian Church from 9:00 to 12:00. Final funeral rites are due to take place afterward at the Old Ahenfie courtyard.

The notice states that a family meeting will be held on October 5 at Old Ahenfie in Juaso. The obituary was published by representatives of the family and the Oyoko and Aduana families.
