Six schools in Ghana reach investment quiz quarter-finals — MyJoyOnline
In Ghana, six senior high schools advanced to the quarter-finals of the National Investment Quiz 2026 following the qualifying round. Our Lady of Mercy Senior High School (OLAMS), Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion SHS, Mfantsipim School, Wesley Girls’ High School, Apam SHS and St. John’s Grammar School will compete in the next stage, MyJoyOnline reports.
Qualifying competition results
Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion SHS won the first contest with 45 points. OLAMS placed second with 44 points and also secured a place in the quarter-finals. Adisadel College scored 43.5 points, while Kumasi High School scored 37.
Mfantsipim School posted the highest result in the qualifying round, scoring 59 points in the second contest. Wesley Girls’ High School placed second with 44 points, Corpus Christi School scored 41 points, and St. Louise Senior High School scored 36. Mfantsipim School and Wesley Girls’ High School advanced to the next stage.

In the third contest, St. John’s Grammar School took first place with 34 points. Apam SHS scored 32 points and finished second, Accra Academy received 31 points, and University Practice SHS scored 27. St. John’s Grammar School and Apam SHS qualified for the quarter-finals.
Quarter-final opponents
The six schools that advanced from the qualifiers will join eight seeded schools: St. Augustine’s College, West Africa Senior High School, Opoku Ware School, Adonten Senior High School, Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon, Prempeh College, Wesley Grammar School and Mawuko Girls’ Senior High School.
The competitions were held under the supervision of quiz host Godson Nukunya. Participants demonstrated speed, accuracy and knowledge of investing, savings and financial concepts. The National Investment Quiz aims to develop financial literacy and investment education among senior high school students.
