Z-propagandist Muzaffarov was detained in Moscow on charges of "extortion"
In Moscow, law enforcement officials detained Z-channel propagandist and “volunteer” Emil Muzaffarov on suspicion of extortion.
According to sources, investigators plan to seek his arrest. He is currently in a detention center and has gone on a hunger strike in protest.
It is reported that the criminal case may be linked to financial transfers for military needs through a fund associated with the detainee.
Prior to his detention, Muzaffarov publicly accused the bookmaker Parimatch of ties to the financing of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and claimed the company had possible contacts with Umar Kremlev, president of the International Boxing Association.
He also claimed that there were agreements regarding public support for the Russian military, which ultimately were not fulfilled.
As a reminder, the Kremlin has expressed hope for new negotiations with Ukraine.
The Kremlin also commented on the upcoming talks in the U.S. without Russia’s participation.
