Train derails in Normandy, 44 people injured
In the French region of Normandy, a train derailed between Rouen and Caen on the evening of September 11, 2026. Around 19:30 local time, 44 people were injured in the incident. This was reported by The Hindu International, citing French authorities and railway operator SNCF.
Condition of the injured
One of the injured people is in critical condition. He was evacuated by helicopter, prefect Jean-Benoît Albertini, who heads the local authorities, told journalists.
