Two Israeli soldiers wounded in southern Lebanon
In the Beaufort Ridge area in southern Lebanon, two Israeli soldiers sustained minor injuries during an attack by a Hezbollah militant. According to the Israel Defense Forces, the attack took place at close range, and the wounded soldiers killed the attacker.
Retaliatory strikes
The soldiers were taken to hospital, and their families were informed about the incident. In response, Israeli forces struck Hezbollah facilities, including weapons depots, command centers and other infrastructure of the group, The Jerusalem Post reports.

Nighttime strikes in the Nabatieh area
Earlier, the Israeli army struck targets in the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon overnight. The Israeli military said that several militants were killed in these strikes.
According to the publication, Ali Shuaib, a journalist for Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Manar television channel, was injured in one of the strikes and taken to hospital. The Israeli army also said that the nighttime strikes were a response to a Hezbollah drone attack on military personnel in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area. According to the IDF, no Israeli soldiers were injured in that attack.
