In the U.S., there is still discussion about granting Ukraine access to Patriot production technology
Despite Trump’s statements, the United States is discussing with Ukraine the possibility of granting access to technology for manufacturing Patriot systems, which would allow Kyiv to establish its own production and master modern defense technologies.
This was stated by U.S. Representative Mike Turner. He called on the U.S. president and the Pentagon to act as quickly as possible to resolve this issue. According to him, the initiative to license the technology is truly important not only for Ukraine and its allies, but also for the United States itself.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he had not promised Ukraine a license to produce Patriot interceptor missiles. According to him, the transfer of such technologies involves security concerns, so he is not certain that this decision will be made at all.
Prior to this, following a face-to-face meeting with Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the U.S. president had agreed to grant Ukraine a license to manufacture interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense systems.
