The CPD announced a new large-scale mobilization in Russia

Russia may mobilize more than 500,000 people this fall. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, reported on these plans by the aggressor country. According to him, the Russian command plans to send some of the mobilized troops to the front almost immediately, while others will be trained in preparation for the possible opening of a new front.

Russia is preparing for a new large-scale mobilization as early as this fall. This was reported by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council. According to him, the mobilization will involve more than 500,000 people.

Kovalenko noted that the Russian command already has a preliminary plan for deploying the new troops. According to his information, some of the mobilized troops could be sent to the front as early as two weeks after conscription. “Russia is preparing to mobilize 500,000 people this fall. Some are planned to be thrown into battle within the first two weeks to plug gaps in the east, while others will be trained for a month in preparation for a potential opening of a new front line. This is the Russian Federation’s plan,” Andriy Kovalenko said.

According to him, the rapid deployment of new recruits is linked to an attempt to compensate for the Russian army’s losses on the eastern front. At the same time, the rest of the mobilized troops are scheduled to undergo training for at least a month. Afterward, they may be used to reinforce existing units or to open a new front.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized that fall and winter could be a very tense period for Ukraine. According to him, Ukrainian troops will have to operate under conditions of intense combat, where Russia will continue to actively deploy ground forces, attack drones, guided bombs, and other weapons. “For Ukraine, this will be a very intense fall and winter,” Kovalenko noted.

He also emphasized that the Defense Forces will have to endure complex infantry battles in which the enemy will rely not only on the number of personnel but also on the massive use of modern weapons.

At the same time, there is currently no official confirmation of such mobilization plans from the Russian authorities. Andriy Kovalenko’s statement is based on information held by the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. This information comes from a Telegram post by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Casualties among the personnel of the Russian occupation forces in the full-scale war against Ukraine have begun to exceed the pace of mobilization efforts in the Russian Federation
