The former footballer said he was devastated by the sudden loss of his partner. According to him, motherhood had been Hannah’s dream. He wrote that he and Sophia would love and miss her deeply.
Hutchings also thanked friends, family, former teammates and colleagues for their messages of support. He noted that he cannot always respond to every message, but appreciates them. No details about Hannah’s death were reported.

Mark Hutchings played only for West Coast Eagles. He made 120 AFL appearances for the team and was part of the side that won the title in 2018, defeating Collingwood in the grand final.
