The topic of mathematics anxiety
This year's e-rehkendus theme is mathematics anxiety — fear or tension associated with learning or solving mathematical problems. Organizers note that this condition can make it harder to concentrate and worsen results, while the competition's game-based format is intended to create an environment without excessive pressure for participants.
The competition is organized by TalTech, public broadcaster ERR and SEB. The tasks were prepared by members of the Estonian Mathematical Society's school mathematics association. Nearly 30,000 people took part in the competition last year.
