In Italy, opposition demands answers over reports of possible drone attacks — ANSA English
In Italy, Lia Quartapelle, an MP from the opposition centre-left Democratic Party, called on the government to immediately explain a report by the Spanish newspaper El Mundo that Russia, an aggressor state, may be preparing drone attacks from the sea against Italy, France and Spain.
El Mundo report
As ANSA English reports, El Mundo claims that US intelligence services received information about possible attacks and passed it on to several European governments.

The Spanish publication links these possible actions to Moscow's plan to intensify its confrontation with the West.
Questions for the government
Quartapelle stated that reports of a possible Russian drone attack on Italy require immediate clarification from the government. She asked whether this information has grounds and what the authorities are doing together with other European countries to protect against such risks.
