Ration cards for diesel fuel have been introduced in occupied Sevastopol

Ration cards for diesel fuel have been introduced in occupied Sevastopol

In the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol, the invaders have officially introduced a rationing system for diesel fuel and imposed strict limits on gasoline sales

From now on, local drivers can purchase no more than 20 liters of fuel per person

These restrictions have affected the operations of “TES,” the largest network of gas stations on the peninsula.

The fuel crisis was caused by successful strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on Russian oil refineries, which disrupted the enemy’s internal logistics.

The city’s collaborationist administration was forced to acknowledge a serious shortage due to the worsening supply situation.

The so-called head of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, tried to reassure the population and urged people to avoid panic at gas stations.

However, the introduction of a ration card system indicates a deep crisis in the supply of petroleum products throughout the Crimean region.

The Crimean Peninsula has become the first region under Russian control where the occupying authorities have officially restricted fuel sales to the civilian population.

The consequences of regular attacks by Ukrainian long-range drones on oil infrastructure are already beginning to be felt in Russia itself.

In particular, residents of Ryazan are complaining en masse about the prolonged absence of popular brands of gasoline, “AI-92” and “AI-95,” at gas stations.

Russia’s fuel infrastructure is unable to quickly compensate for losses resulting from damage to processing facilities at oil refineries.

Local shortages are accompanied by the cancellation of any loyalty programs and the closure of individual gas stations in Russian regions.

Ordinary citizens of the aggressor country are forced to spend hours searching for fuel for their own needs.

In Russia, drones attacked the Syzran Oil Refinery in the Samara Region

Unmanned aerial vehicle forces, together with other units of the Defense Forces and the SBU, carried out a successful strike on a Russian facility where UAV crews were being trained, munitions were being produced, and equipment was being repaired.

In Russia, following the drone attack, fires broke out at the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, and on the grounds of the Azot chemical plant in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai.

On the night of May 20, a series of explosions rocked the Stavropol Krai in Russia, followed by reports of damage to the Nevinnomyssk Azot plant. The plant is one of the largest producers of ammonia and ammonium nitrate in the Russian Federation. Information regarding the extent of the damage and the consequences of the attack is being clarified.
