Video: A Polish man attacked Ukrainian women right on board the plane and forced them to speak Polish
The conflict occurred during a flight from Tenerife to Warsaw. According to one of the Ukrainian women, it all started during landing.
The women walked a little further down the cabin while other passengers were retrieving their luggage from the overhead bins. This angered a man, who began to insult them.
When the Ukrainian women asked him to calm down, he replied, “Speak Polish. You’re in Poland.” In the video, the man can also be heard shouting insults directed at Ukraine.
Another passenger—a Polish man—stepped in to defend the girls. The aggressive man then turned his attention to him and began making threats.
Police in Wrocław, Poland, are investigating an attack on a 19-year-old Ukrainian citizen that took place on July 4 on Slodowa Island in the city center. According to the victim and his father, the conflict may have arisen because the young man was speaking Ukrainian.
Earlier, in the Polish city of Radom, four men attacked a 20-year-old Ukrainian citizen after he was unable to sing Polish songs.
