A man who ordered the murder of a judge for $50,000 was arrested in Odessa

In Odesa, under the procedural supervision of the Office of the Prosecutor General, a man was exposed and detained who had planned the contract killing of a judge from one of the city’s district courts with the aim of seizing the judge’s property and funds.

Law enforcement officials determined that the suspect had developed a detailed plan for the crime, found a “hitman,” and offered him a reward of 50,000 U.S. dollars, 10,000 of which were to serve as an advance payment. The organizer also agreed to fully finance the purchase of weapons and ammunition and to provide information about the victim’s place of residence, vehicles, and travel routes.

All meetings and negotiations took place under the supervision of law enforcement agencies. The suspect was arrested immediately while handing over $1,000 for the purchase of weapons. He is currently charged with attempted conspiracy to commit premeditated murder for hire, motivated by financial gain.
