FirstBank to hold agric and export expo in Nigeria on September 16–17
FirstBank will hold its fifth Agric and Export Expo in Nigeria on September 16 and 17, 2026. The theme of the two-day event will be “From Farm to Global Markets: Building Nigeria’s Export Value Chain.” This was stated in a press release published by Premium Times Nigeria.
Event program
The event is expected to bring together representatives of government bodies, regulators, agribusinesses, exporters, investors and development partners. Participants will discuss practical solutions to strengthen Nigeria’s agricultural value chain and expand access to global markets.
The keynote address is expected to be delivered by Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari. A welcome address is expected to be delivered by Niger State Governor Mohammed Umar Bago.

Among the announced business representatives are Olasunkanmi Owoyemi, head of Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited; Taiwo Ayoade, deputy managing director of Agro Traders Limited and Plantation Industries Limited; Sunil Kumar Chauhan, head of Dangote Fertiliser Limited; Ayodele Abioye, head of BUA Foods Plc; Agboola Zubayr Belgore, head of Amo Byng Nigeria Limited; as well as Amit Bose, chief financial officer of Valency Agro Nigeria.
The conference program includes discussions of market opportunities, export financing, value addition, technological innovation and policy approaches that may help Nigerian companies compete in global markets.
