Fedorov did not rule out running in the presidential election
Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated that he does not rule out running in the upcoming presidential election.
He also supported the idea of holding elections in Ukraine even amid the war.
According to him, this would require finding unconventional solutions, particularly given the large number of Ukrainians living abroad and the complex situation in regions affected by hostilities.
Fedorov emphasized that his position on the necessity of holding elections is his own, and that after stepping down as defense minister, he plans to focus on military technology and initiatives related to the upcoming vote.

He made these remarks in an interview with BBC News following the announcement of a money-laundering investigation involving lawmakers and bankers.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he has a positive view of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov but believes that Fedorov either made the wrong decisions on his own or was pushed into them. According to the president, he offered Fedorov various options for future work on four separate occasions, but Fedorov rejected them all.
