Fedorov and Pistorius visited Ukraine's frontline regions and command posts at the front
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, together with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius, traveled to regions near the front lines and visited military headquarters on the front lines.
During the visit, the foreign delegation was briefed on the operational situation and the practical application of modern technologies in combat conditions.
Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized the particular significance of this visit for strengthening bilateral relations.
“Boris Pistorius is one of the few foreign defense ministers who has personally visited the military so close to the front lines,” the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry noted.
At the frontline headquarters, the ministers familiarized themselves with the DELTA situational awareness system, which allows for the coordination of various types of drones within a single battle management system.
The military demonstrated the process of planning assault operations, conducting reconnaissance, and methods for effectively destroying enemy logistics hubs.
Germany is currently one of Ukraine’s key partners in the field of technological warfare, investing significant funds in innovation.
In particular, the German side has funded the development of deep strike and mid-strike capabilities to the tune of over one billion dollars.
According to Fedorov, mid-strike systems are already enabling the systematic disruption of Russian occupiers’ logistics.
Currently, Ukrainian forces are delivering approximately 5,000 strikes per month at depths exceeding 20 kilometers, and this capability continues to expand.
