Iran is rebuilding its military-industrial complex much faster than expected, and has already resumed production of drones.
CNN reports this, citing sources in U.S. intelligence. According to their information, Iran is rebuilding its missile infrastructure, including bases and launchers, which allows it to gradually restore its military capabilities.
The report notes that this could have consequences in the event of renewed hostilities: Tehran is capable of inflicting significant damage on U.S. allies in the region, as well as calling into question assessments of the long-term effectiveness of previous U.S. and Israeli strikes.
It is also reported that a full restoration of UAV capabilities could occur within six months. This, according to estimates, would allow Iran to resume airstrikes against Israel and Gulf countries.
According to sources, several factors are contributing to the recovery: the scale of the damage inflicted was smaller than expected, as well as external support from Russia and China, including the supply of missile components even during the conflict.
