The number of casualties from the Russian drone strike on Kharkiv has risen to nine

On March 25, 2026, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported an increase in the number of casualties following a daytime attack by Russian drones.

According to updated data, nine people sustained injuries of varying severity. Information regarding the condition of the victims and the extent of the damage continues to be clarified following rescue operations at the sites of the strikes.

Earlier reports indicated a lower number of casualties resulting from the latest shelling of the city by Russian forces. Russian drones struck residential areas and infrastructure within the city. City authorities and emergency services continue to address the aftermath of the strikes and provide necessary assistance to all affected residents.

On March 25, Russian forces launched drone strikes on Kharkiv. Hits were recorded in the Kholodnohirskyi and Novobavarskyi districts of the city.

In Vinnytsia, the number of casualties from the Russian drone attack on March 24 rose to 20 people, seven of whom were hospitalized.

In the Chernihiv district, an energy facility was damaged as a result of the enemy attack, causing a power outage for consumers. Approximately 150,000 customers in the city of Chernihiv and the Chernihiv district are without power.

On March 24, Russian occupiers carried out a massive attack on western regions of Ukraine using kamikaze drones. In Lviv, one of the drones struck a building in the city center, causing a fire.

This attack was part of a large-scale air offensive by the Russian Federation that on March 24 swept across several regions of Ukraine, including critical infrastructure facilities in the rear regions.
