Crimean residents push an ATO vehicle to a gas station by hand – video

In the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol, the effects of a critical shortage of petroleum products have been observed, forcing local car owners to push their vehicles by hand while waiting in lines at gas stations.

Footage shows a massive line of vehicles stretching toward one of the local gas stations. To conserve as much of the remaining fuel in their tanks as possible, drivers are refusing to start their engines and are pushing their cars by hand every time the line moves forward a few meters toward the fuel nozzle. This situation reflects the overall crisis in the supply of fuel and lubricants to the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula.

Eyewitnesses posted a video of the situation on social media, demonstrating the scale of the fuel crisis on the peninsula.

Following a sharp rise in fuel prices in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Moscow-controlled authorities announced the introduction of fixed prices for gasoline and diesel.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, fuel problems could escalate into a much more serious crisis. Due to logistical difficulties on the peninsula, prices have already begun to rise, lines are forming, and residents are increasingly stocking up on essential goods.

The shortage of automotive fuel, which was previously observed in the temporarily occupied Crimea, has begun to spread to the southern regions of the Russian Federation. Residents of the Krasnodar Krai and the Rostov Oblast are reporting shortages of gasoline and diesel fuel.
