During a nighttime attack, air defense forces shot down five ballistic missiles, an X-59 missile, and 104 drones
On the night of July 26, Russian forces launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using ballistic missiles, a guided air-to-ground missile, and attack drones. Air defense forces destroyed one X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile, five of the seven Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 104 enemy drones.
According to military reports, starting at 6:00 p.m. on July 25, the enemy launched an X-59/69 air-to-ground guided missile at Ukraine from the Black Sea, seven Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from the Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh regions of the Russian Federation, as well as 136 Shahed-type strike drones, “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and “Parody” decoy drones.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces deployed aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups to repel the air attack.
As of 08:30, according to preliminary data, Ukrainian air defense shot down or neutralized one X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile, five ballistic missiles, and 104 enemy drones.
At the same time, two ballistic missiles and 27 attack UAVs were recorded striking 18 locations. Debris from the downed aerial targets fell at seven additional locations.

As a reminder, over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,440 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total combat losses of Russian personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion have reached approximately 1,438,990 people.
On the night of July 26, Russian troops struck Kyiv, causing fires in the Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts of the capital. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
