Polish retailer Pepco has officially announced its entry into the Ukrainian market. The chain’s first store is scheduled to open in late October 2026.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Retailers Association, citing a press release from the company.
Ukraine will become Pepco’s 20th market, as the company continues its active expansion in Central and Eastern Europe.
Currently, there are about 4,000 stores operating under the Pepco brand in 18 European countries. The chain serves over 36 million customers every month.
The company specializes in selling clothing for children and adults, as well as home goods. The stores offer home décor, kitchenware, textiles, accessories, and other everyday items.
Arsen Starchenko, head of Pepco in Ukraine, stated that the company aims to contribute to the country’s recovery by creating new jobs and supporting the economy.
A management team for the Ukrainian division has also been formed. Ivan Omelchenko has been appointed Head of Expansion, Marina Popova heads the HR department, and Olga Agalidi leads the finance division.
Polish retailer Pepco is preparing to launch operations in Ukraine and open its first test stores. The company’s intention to enter the Ukrainian market was announced by Group CEO Stephen Borchert. The initial plan is to launch several pilot retail locations in various regions of the country.
