Prince William talks about talking to children about cancer: "Balancing act"

Prince William of Wales has shared his approach to open conversations with his three children about important and difficult topics, including cancer. In an interview with Brazilian journalist Lucian Hook, he emphasized that "hiding information" is not effective and parents should be honest with their children. This frankness was important to them, especially given that the royal family had recently faced serious medical diagnoses.

He also touched on the rules he has regarding the use of phones by his children, believing that access to the Internet can lead to viewing unwanted information. Prince William and his wife Kate try to be active parents, participating in everyday life, such as taking their children to school or to sporting events.

This conversation took place during his visit to Brazil, where he took part in the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Earthshot Prize initiative, which aims to find solutions to environmental problems. The next phase of the program is scheduled for the UN Climate Change Conference in 2025.
