Russian forces launched a strike using guided bombs against civilian infrastructure in the Yampil community of Sumy Oblast.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

As a result of the attack, a kindergarten and residential buildings were damaged. Rescue workers quickly surveyed the area and confirmed that no people were found under the rubble.

Emergency repair work is currently underway at the site of the strikes.

“As a result of the attack, a kindergarten and residential buildings were damaged. Rescuers inspected the area—no people were found under the rubble. State Emergency Service personnel carried out emergency restoration work,” the statement reads.

Preliminary reports indicate that four victims sought medical assistance.

In addition, medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance to the victims. On Monday, April 28, Russian troops struck Kryvyi Rih. One person was killed and five others were wounded as a result of the shelling.

Russian troops again attacked Sumy with a drone, striking a parking lot in the Kovpakivskyi district of the city. Seven vehicles were damaged as a result of the attack. Information about the casualties is being verified.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled 18 settlements in the Kharkiv region, resulting in civilian casualties.

On the night of April 26, Russian troops carried out a massive attack with strike drones on the Odesa region. Once again, the enemy’s primary target was the region’s port and logistics infrastructure.

An attack by enemy drones was recorded in Chernihiv, resulting in fires in the city and damage to residential buildings.

Ukrainian rescue workers have completed emergency restoration work at the site of a four-story building partially destroyed by a Russian strike. Six people are known to have died, and another 23 were injured.
