According to him, five strikes were recorded within the city limits. “Preliminary reports indicate five guided bomb strikes. Less than six hours have passed since the previous guided bomb strike on the outskirts of Sumy,” Grigorov said.

The attack damaged civilian infrastructure in several areas of the city. Two airstrikes hit the central part of Sumy.
At one of the epicenters of the strike, a non-residential high-rise building was damaged, and the shock wave shattered hundreds of windows in surrounding buildings. According to “Suspilne,” the Sumy Regional Scientific Library is also among the damaged facilities.
